This was my entry for Beechworth Honey's Pollinate artwork competition. The objective was to create an artwork tied into the theme of 'bees, flowers and food'. I entered two designs inspired by sunny days and the art of a classic morning tea.
If you take a closer look, you will find motifs of bees, honeycomb and springtime blooms such as tulips, lavender and eucalyptus blossoms. Hidden in the first artwork are morning tea classics such as Victoria sponge cake, honeyjoys, jam drop biscuits alongside the breakfast staples of toast and croissants - with a heavy dose of honey, of course!
